What is a Digital Core?

The DHB / digital core is the technology and platform foundation that drives the business functions of the German Hockey Federation. It is the technology engine that the DHB needs to power continuous reinvention. The digital core enables the association to move at the pace of change using cloud for agility and innovation, data for differentiation, applications and platforms to accelerate growth, reimagine experiences and optimize operations with security by design at every level. Embracing a modern digital core requires a shift in thinking from legacy IT systems being static, standalone parts to a mindset where composability, agility, and interoperability across the entire technology landscape and externally with partners (such as the DOSB) really becomes the table stakes.
