News Articles

For the display of articles changes were introduced to ensure that:

  • in case no Hero section (slider or static) is selected, the first article with a large teaser image is displayed. This will use the large teaser image for the Hero section.
  • articles are only displayed based on the chosen main and additional webspace. This is relevant for e.g. match detail pages, where the news section is automatically filtering based on the match tags.

League Operations

Frontend

In preparation of the match day display for the match center teaser on homepages, dividers have been introduced to show the different days that matches are played on. This ensures that end users can quickly identify on which day of the week a match is played for a given match day.

The match report print view has been changed to also show the away team.

A new representation of the standings table has been introduced for desktop versions of the match center. The table now reflects:

  • Played (SP - Spiele)
Matches that were already played in the league (play down/playoffs are not contributing to the calculation)
  • Wins (S - Siege)
Number of wins after normal time (60 mins, Q4)
  • PSO Bonus Point (SnP - Siege nach Penalty)
Number of wins in the Penalty Shootout after a draw.
  • Draws (U - Unentschieden)
Number of draws after normal (60 mins, Q4)
  • Losses (N - Niederlagen)
Number of losses after normal (60 mins, Q4)
  • Goals scored/conceeded (Tore)
Number of goals scored before the regular time ended : Number of goals conceded before the regular time ended (no PSO)
  • Difference (Diff. - Differenz)
Goals scored minus goals conceded before the regular time ended (not including goals scored during Penalty Shootout).
  • Points (Pkt. - Punkte)
Wins 3 Points, Draw 1 Point, Loss 0 Points - a Win after a Penalty Shootout after a draw is 1 extra point.

Backend

Penalty Shootout events have been added to the official match report form, to allow adjustments after the match has ended and before sign off by the umpires and officials.

Error handling has been improved for cases where a nominated player for a match has not (yet) been assigned a shirt number.

Umpire Costs

A new feature has been introduced to maintain the costs for the umpires for:

  • costs for overnight stay ("Übernachtung"),
  • fixed umpire expenses ("SPAE")
  • per diems / costs for other expenses such as e.g. food ("Spesen")
  • travel costs for e.g. train or air travel ("Bahn/Flug")
  • travel costs for e.g. car travel ("PKW") The individual cost items will be aggregated and displayed in a total for each umpire. Data entry and maintainance is possible at every match status other than "official". When a match is "official", no additional changes can be made to the costs. The information can be maintained by the following roles:
  • League Administrator
  • Team Manager (home)
  • Match Official
  • Officials
  • Umpire

Live Ticker

Backend

After a match has been ended on a draw, the option has been made available to back out of the automatically indicated Penalty Shootout. This has been done for situations in which additional adjustments to the score have to be made retrospectively. This has previously led to incorrect representation of the match results, which are fixed alongside this feature implementation.

The Penalty Stroke (PS) button has been temporarily been disabled during a Penalty Shootout. A goal is to be recorded after the Penalty Stroke was taken successfully.
