Digital Core 3.12.0
Content Management System
After the introduction of the new hero slider (see Release Notes 3.6.0), the first article on the homepage template was omitted. This behaviour has been corrected in this release, together with a fix for the slider buttons in case the hero slider title is larger than one line. In the backend the pagination limit for article display has been corrected to limit the amount of articles displayed per page.
Event Webspace
With the completion of the EuroHockey 2023 Outdoor Championships, the event webspace has been repurposed and adjusted for the EuroHockey 2024 indoor championships.
League Operations
The feature to link external pages and/or livestreams to a match has been ported from the Tokio Olympics match center to the match detail pages as an initial implementation.
Frontend
For upcoming matches the pushback time has been re-added to the match center overview.
Backend
For the umpire comment, changes were implemented to show the umpire comment fields in status "Completed" already. Previously this was only possible in status "Official", which does not reflect the flow of information during matches.
In preparation of the addition of the match location's integration with Google Maps, sports facilities and venues can be assigned a Google Maps link in the administration section.
With the separation of competition/league player images and profile images, profile pictures were initially separated. When editing however, both images were changed. This behaviour has been corrected in this release to ensure the separation of the images for the different purposes.
For leagues the default translation is being set to the current language (e.g. English is set based on the German league name).
Team Management
For users with elevated privileges, the selection box for the club of a team has been changed to a live search drop-down for ease of use.
Live Ticker
An improved handling of a second yellow card for a player, resulting in a yellow-red card has been implemented. The event is triggered from the backend assigning a yellow card, but resulting in a yellow-red. The event is also reflected as such in the frontend of the live ticker.
Frontend
With the start and end of a match period (quarter / half), dedicated events are displayed going forward in the live ticker.
Beginning with this release, it is possible to hide certain events from the frontend, by toggling the switch "Live" in the corresponding event in the backend.
A correction has been implemented to correct the timer continuing to continue to count in the live ticker, when a match period (quarter / half) has already been completed.
Club Management
In case no image is uploaded for a club, no image will be displayed in the frontend, instead of a broken image.
